11 Months Later

Knock on wood, the weather, and the Nisqually River are cooperating.

There has been virtually no significant land loss in the 11 months since the last post.

The Army Corp of Engineers never made it out to check on the river, but then again, I didn't keep tabs on them. I made a few more phone calls, but apathy set in as the river receded from it's banks.

Lucky for LB Ranch Residents and landowners, the rivers' course has altered and is no longer up against the bank 20 feet from the main road. Any significant rainfall however will change that.

Winter has arrived and with it, cooler temps and less flooding hazard. We'll be good until spring.

Tune in then.
